Belly flop time!

I have teetered on the blogging diving board for a long time, unwilling to jump. It’s not that I don’t love blogs. I do. Other people’s.
But me have a blog? Good grief, no. For one thing, I’m not exactly a techy person. When people start talking about the innards of their computers, my eyes roll right back into my head. I don’t understand how the internet works. I don’t understand how my computer works. I don’t even understand how my coffeemaker works, so I guess it’s no big surprise that you can see me floundering around Twitter like an overweight ostrich with a blindfold on.
And you know what? I’m good with that. I respect my limitations.
And for another thing, like everybody else, I am just so stinking BUSY. Between teaching, homeschooling, farming, writing along with the ever-present cooking and cleaning, my days are so full it’s ridiculous.Don’t get me wrong, I love it that way. Well, mostly. Some days, not so much. But mostly, yes.
However, the very last thing I need is another thing to do, right? But, then this happened:
Yep. That’s my name right there on that beautiful cover. It’s going to be released on September 20, 2016. It’s a dream come true, ya’ll. And I am just bursting to share it!
Plus, as I’ve climbed this particular “oh, good heavens they bought my book” mountain, I’ve met a lot of other Love Inspired authors, wonderful gifted ladies who inspire me in so many ways…and they blog. And I thought, hey!  If they can do it, I certainly can…um…sort of attempt it. Right?
So back up a few steps from the pond, ya’ll, and get ready.  I’m bellyflopping in!  And since I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, there’s no telling what’s going to happen.
It should be fun to watch, anyway.
