Guess what? I'm Expecting!

Stop that snickering, ya’ll! It’s true!! My second book baby is due in September! A Baby for the Minister, my new Love Inspired romance, is scheduled for release this autumn. I’m so excited about this book—partly because it features Jacob Stone, one of my favorite characters from my first novel A Family for the Farmer.
Like all my stories, this one started when I took some characters I loved and mixed in some intriguing story twists…like a pregnant bride, a runaway groom, a dilapidated blueberry farm and a shaggy goat with a supersized personality.  I threw in a handsome minister with a crazy schedule and a cantankerous, busybody secretary. Then I set it all in a small Georgia town and warmed it up with a dash of sweet romance.  It turned out to be a surefire recipe for love and laughter that I can’t wait to share!
I’ve got to tell you–I’ve already seen a sneak peek of the cover, and I love it.  I can’t wait until I have permission to share! In the meantime, I’m posting a picture of my debut book–just to prove I’m not going to play any favorites among my literary children.
